Summary
A man awakens in an unfamiliar room after dreaming of falling into the ocean and seeing a mysterious girl, only to discover he has no memory of his identity. The girl from his dream appears, gives him a pair of glasses, and instructs him to flee to his car. He escapes moments before the building explodes. The car’s automated navigation system returns him to a house he does not recognise, where he finds no clues to his past. He then receives a call on his wrist communicator directing him to meet Agent K at a club. K, initially doubtful of the amnesia, eventually identifies him as Jin, an operative of DEUS, a covert organisation tasked with tracking illegal extra-terrestrials disguised as humans. During their conversation, Jin receives a note from a woman in the bar and immediately recognises her as an alien.
Jin and K pursue her into an alley, where K remains behind to fight her subordinates while Jin continues the chase. Jin follows her into a building and witnesses a gathering of aliens discussing their plan to conquer Earth and summon a giant monster. They detect Jin’s presence and capture him, demanding to know his identity. The building transforms into a spacecraft and takes flight. The girl from his dreams intervenes, calling Jin the saviour of the world, and together they fight their way out of the ship before leaping into open air.
While falling, Jin dons the glasses and transforms into Ultra Seven X, engaging the monster attacking the city. Both the monster and the spacecraft attempt to destroy him but fail. Ultra Seven X kills the monster with the Eye Slugger, thrown like a boomerang, and destroys the spacecraft with a beam fired from his forehead. After reverting to Jin, he experiences a vision of three figures standing in a garden and staring at him. Despite lacking any memory of his past, Jin resolves to use his newfound power to protect the world.
