Summary
Alina Railo joins a scientific mission into the depths of Finnish Lapland, where researchers believe a gateway to a parallel universe may exist, one that could hold unconventional answers to the worsening climate crisis. The expedition blends frontier science with speculative possibility, treating the alternate realm as both a potential resource and a profound unknown.
For Alina, the journey is also a personal search. Her father once investigated the same phenomenon before disappearing into the parallel universe decades earlier, leaving behind unanswered questions and an unresolved legacy. As the team advances, Alina confronts the mystery of his fate while navigating the tension between scientific ambition, environmental urgency, and the emotional weight of her family’s past.
