Summary
Volta, known as the Queen of Lightning, is portrayed as a superheroine who combats criminal threats alongside her two children, 220 (Salty) and 110 (Pepper). Her husband, Mark, is an ordinary human with no superpowers and remains unaware that his wife, Perla, is secretly Volta, the very heroine for whom he harbours admiration. The family’s daily life is defined by layers of secrecy, as Perla attempts to reconcile her responsibilities as a homemaker with her duties as a superheroine.
Supporting her are her closest friends, Din‑Din and Nancy, who assist her in navigating the complexities of her dual identity. Tensions escalate when a villainous family emerges and settles next door, threatening Perla’s neighbourhood and intensifying Volta’s ongoing struggle against her principal adversary.
The narrative culminates with Volta sacrificing herself to the thunder elemental in order to save the world. In the closing moments of the final episode, a brief glimpse of her archenemy’s hair is shown within a government cloning facility in Batangas, implying the possibility of future conflict.
