Summary

The first season follows three interconnected protagonists at different points in time: the monster hunter Geralt of Rivia, Crown Princess Cirilla of Cintra, and the quarter-elf sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg. Through a series of parallel narratives, the season explores the formative experiences that shape each character before their individual storylines gradually converge into a single chronology.

Geralt and Ciri are bound by destiny through the Law of Surprise, an ancient custom invoked by Geralt years before Ciri's birth, inadvertently linking their fates. Following the fall of Cintra, Ciri becomes the target of numerous individuals and factions seeking to exploit her extraordinary powers and Elder Blood heritage. As their paths finally intersect, Geralt assumes responsibility for her protection.

As political conflict and magical intrigue spread across the Continent, Geralt and his allies strive to safeguard Ciri from those who would use her abilities for their own ambitions. Their journey is marked by alliances, betrayals, and escalating threats, as they seek to preserve both Ciri's freedom and the stability of a world increasingly shaped by war, destiny, and powerful magic.
