Summary
A wave of violent animal attacks against humans begins occurring across the globe, prompting widespread concern and scientific investigation. Jackson Oz, an American zoologist, joins forces with Abraham Kenyatta, a Kenyan safari guide, to examine the emerging phenomenon. They are soon accompanied by Jamie Campbell, a reporter from Los Angeles; Mitch Morgan, an eccentric veterinary pathologist; and Chloe Tousignant, a French intelligence operative. As the incidents escalate, the group observes that the attacks are becoming increasingly coordinated and aggressive, suggesting an underlying cause more complex than ordinary animal behaviour.
