Summary
In the age of the dinosaurs, the Deboth Army launched an invasion of Earth that drove the planet’s prehistoric life to the brink of extinction. Their campaign was ultimately repelled by Wise God Torin and the Zyudenryu, halting the first attempt at conquest. In the present day, the Deboth Army re‑emerges to resume its assault. To counter this renewed threat, Torin selects five courageous individuals who must first defeat their respective Zyudenryu in order to obtain their powers. Through this trial, they become the Kyoryugers, known as the People of the Great and Mighty Lizards, charged with defending Earth from the revived enemy.
