Summary

Set approximately 1,200 years before the events of Witcher, the, The Witcher: Blood Origin explores the origins of the first Witcher and the events that culminated in the Conjunction of the Spheres, the cataclysmic event that merged multiple worlds and reshaped the Continent. The series also examines the height and eventual decline of the ancient Elven kingdom of Xin'trea.

The narrative is framed through the perspective of Jaskier, the bard and companion of Geralt of Rivia, who is rescued during a time of war by the enigmatic elf Seanchai. She tasks him with preserving a forgotten chapter of history that has been erased from collective memory.

Through Seanchai's account, the series recounts the legend of seven unlikely warriors who unite against the ruling powers of Xin'trea in the aftermath of a coup d'état. Their actions set in motion events that would alter the fate of the world and lead to the creation of enduring myths and legends.
