Summary
The programme follows three mutant superhuman refugees from the Akuma Clan (“Devil Clan”), a vast subterranean empire, and chronicles their efforts to prevent the Akumas from launching an assault on the surface world. The protagonists, Xavitan, a half‑demon swordsman; Evil, a vain and flamboyant sharpshooter; and Gabra, a slow‑witted but immensely strong warrior, form the heroic trio that gives the series its title.
Across the narrative, the three combat Akuma forces while navigating their status as fugitives from the empire. In the concluding instalment, their physical bodies are destroyed, though their souls endure. These surviving spirits are subsequently reincarnated in the direct sequel series Bibyun, continuing their struggle in a new form.
