Summary

Following the deaths of Zabitan, Gabura, and Evil, their spirits inhabit the bodies of three human hosts, granting them superhuman abilities to combat a new supernatural threat to Japan. Although presented as a sequel to Akumaizer, the series differs significantly: the heroes are humans who transform into their empowered forms, and the antagonists are yōkai rather than demons.

The spirit of Zabitan merges with gymnast Tsukimura Kei (Araki Shigeru), enabling him to become Chōjin Bibyun, the fire‑and‑air warrior armed with the Sky Sword. Bibyun can detect enemies using “Sky Radar,” generate objects by tracing shapes, and destroy monsters by transforming into a fireball. Araki Shigeru had previously portrayed Kamen Rider Stronger.

The spirit of Evil enters swimmer Suga Ichirō (Sakada Toshihiko), who transforms into Chōjin Bashaan, the water‑based warrior equipped with the Pepe water gun. Bashaan can assume liquid forms and typically emerges from nearby bodies of water.

The spirit of Gabura inhabits weightlifter Watabe Gō (Yuchida Yasuhiko), who becomes Chōjin Zushiiin, the earth warrior wielding the earthquake‑producing staff Mokane. Zushiiin can transform into a boulder or soil. Yuchida Yasuhiko previously appeared as Apollo Geist in Kamen Rider X.

Each hero possesses a dedicated motorcycle. They are supported by Crimson Shark, a living aircraft capable of changing size and locating hostile spirits before summoning the trio into action.

The metaphysicist Dr. Daima is responsible for summoning the three spirits and serves as the heroes’ mentor. They are also assisted by Akechi Lisa, a police agent and ninth‑level ninja. The trio battles yōkai commanded by Demon Emperor Gulliver, a returning antagonist from Akumaizer.
