Summary

Several years after Jamahl’s defeat, Earth enjoys renewed peace. The former Earth Academia has become Cosmo Academia, where Kai Takuya and the insect sage Guru develop a new generation of Insect Armor. Their preparations prove timely when a fissure in the ocean floor releases a massive fortress belonging to the ancient Melzard Tribe, which awakens after millions of years and seeks humanity’s destruction.

The tribe’s ruler, Mother Melzard, commands her sons Raija and Dezzle to lead the assault, beginning with the ice‑wielding beast Elebammoth. In response, Guru infuses the new armor with Insect Power, creating three Command Voicers to select suitable human hosts.

Two chosen candidates—Tachibana Kengo and Ayukawa Ran—become B‑Fighter Kuwagaa and B‑Fighter Tentou. The third device chooses high‑school athlete Toba Kouhei, who becomes B‑Fighter Kabuto after confronting Elebammoth. Together, the trio defeats the creature, though Mother Melzard vows continued conquest.

Under the guidance of Professor Osanai and aided by the AI Bitto, the B‑Fighters battle land‑ and sea‑based monsters deployed by Raija and Dezzle. They also receive upgraded vehicles, the Neo Beet Machines, to counter Melzard’s forces.

When Mother Melzard unleashes her strongest offspring, Hebyuuza, the original B‑Fighters return to assist. Hebyuuza infects all six heroes with parasitic cells that turn their armor against them, forcing them to de‑transform while Cosmo Academia searches for a cure. Once the cells are neutralised, the team destroys Hebyuuza’s successor Driceraija. Enraged, Raija challenges Kabuto and is defeated, his body turning to stone as he is carried back to the Melzard fortress.
