Summary

A group of unlikely students discover that their headmaster is using hypnotism in an attempt to gain complete control over the school.

Siblings Lizzie and Tyler Warren return reluctantly to Hazelbrook School, which has undergone a dramatic transformation since their previous attendance. The once-disreputable institution has become a highly sought-after school, where every student is encouraged to develop a specialised skill, ranging from sporting ability to scientific expertise. Under the strict supervision of the Headmaster, Hazelbrook has been transformed into a centre of excellence governed by a rigid set of rules.

Lizzie soon becomes suspicious of the changes taking place at the school and begins to believe that something is amiss. Her concerns intensify when she is framed for vandalising school property, placing her at odds with the school’s increasingly authoritarian administration.
