Summary
Dirk Gently operates the Holistic Detective Agency, an investigative practice founded on the principle of the “fundamental interconnectedness of all things.” His methods rely on chance‑based reasoning and the assumption that unrelated events may share underlying connections, a philosophy he attributes to principles of quantum mechanics.
