Summary
In this town, the presence of both heroes and villains is an accepted part of everyday life. Costumed heroes patrol the streets openly, and even a routine bank robbery committed by a villain elicits little more than mild curiosity from the public. Amid this unusual normality, however, there is one person who looks upon them with quiet envy: Yamada Mako, a third‑year student at Taihaku High School.
Mako embodies the idea of the “ordinary.” She was born at an average height and weight, consistently earns average marks on her examinations, and records average results in physical fitness tests. Her preferences are modest, she likes her noodles very firm, and her ideal type is simply “a kind person.” In every respect, she is an exceptionally normal girl.
To her, the heroes and villains who populate the town are extraordinary figures, far removed from her own unremarkable existence.
This is the unusual story of a perfectly ordinary girl.
