Summary

Armando is the biological father of Elias. Elias’ mother died during childbirth, after which the infant was taken in and raised by foster parents. As he grows older, Elias undertakes mixed‑martial‑arts training, specifically Muay Thai, under the instruction of a soldier named Victor. During this period, he is entrusted with a powerful amulet known as the bertud ng paniki, reputed to grant extraordinary abilities to its bearer.

Empowered by the amulet, Elias becomes capable of confronting a feared group of witches and warlocks (mangkukulam), beings described as immortal, ageless, and undying. Their re‑emergence poses a significant threat, prompting Elias to use both his martial training and the supernatural properties of the amulet to combat them.
