Summary

Ever 4 is a highly advanced artificial‑intelligence robot assigned to serve Luo Bu Shi, an indulged yet socially isolated young heir, following the unexpected defection of the earlier model Ever 9. Although engineered for composure and efficiency, Ever 4 exhibits a distinctive personality marked by idiosyncratic behaviour and a principled commitment to advocating for robot rights. As he assumes the role of personal attendant, Ever 4 gradually forms a meaningful bond with Luo Bu Shi, whose temperament softens through sustained interaction with his robotic companion. Their relationship develops into a narrative centred on loyalty, emotional growth, and the possibility of connection across species boundaries.
