Summary
Roldan Legazpi (Luis Manzano) grows up in comfort with his affluent parents until a violent encounter with a tikbalang, a half‑human, half‑horse creature from Philippine folklore, leaves him unable to use his legs. Forced to adapt, Roldan develops exceptional upper‑body strength and mobility, eventually mastering martial arts and learning to walk and manoeuvre using his hands.
Determined to confront the creature responsible for his condition, Roldan challenges the tikbalang despite his physical limitations. The tikbalang later assumes human form as Tikboy and grants Roldan a portion of its mystical power through the creature’s enchanted hair. This gift enables Roldan to transform into a super‑powered being with enlarged hands and feet and enhanced physical abilities, adopting the heroic identity Flash Bomba.
As Flash Bomba, Roldan possesses superhuman strength, the ability to scale walls, the capacity to generate powerful thunderclaps with his oversized hands, and the agility to leap great distances. Seeking a deeper understanding of the tikbalang’s mystical abilities, he returns to the forest to complete his mission. Roldan ultimately embraces his new alter ego, using his powers to protect the vulnerable, combat crime, and enjoy the public recognition that accompanies his heroic exploits.
