Summary
Han Tae‑joo, portrayed by Jung Kyung‑ho, is the head of a criminal investigation unit whose rapid professional ascent has been driven by his reliance on empirical data rather than interpersonal intuition. During the pursuit of a serial‑murder investigation, he is involved in an accident that results in an abrupt and inexplicable temporal displacement. Upon regaining consciousness, he discovers that he has been transported to 1988 and assigned as a detective in a small provincial police station. Confronted with unfamiliar working conditions and uncertain about the cause of his situation, Han Tae‑joo resolves to investigate a series of murders occurring in the area, believing that solving the case may provide the key to returning to his own time.
