Summary

In 2046, two years after a catastrophic impact event imperils the future of humanity, the Robinson family is selected to join the 24th Colonist Group aboard the Resolute, an interstellar vessel transporting chosen families and civilians to establish a settlement in the Alpha Centauri system.

During the voyage, the Resolute is compromised when an alien robot breaches the ship’s hull, forcing a mass evacuation into the fleet’s short‑range Jupiter landing craft. Numerous colonists , including the Robinsons , crash on a nearby habitable planet. Stranded far from their intended destination, they must navigate an unfamiliar and often perilous environment while confronting internal conflicts and personal challenges, all as they attempt to devise a means of returning to the Resolute.
