Summary
The plot follows the aftermath of the Anti‑Mutant Act, which forces mutants into hiding and compels them to suppress their abilities. Erica (Andréa Avancini) and Pepe (Perfeito Fortuna) relocate to Petrópolis, posing as the guardians of Vavá, Eugênio, Ângela, Clara, Ágata and Aquiles, who become targets of school bully Pit. They are accompanied by Perpétua, Cléo, Carvalho, Ísis and Cris, who establish an NGO disguised as a residential republic to shelter fugitive mutants.
At Colégio Novo Ensino, the children encounter Sofia, a teacher who advocates for mutant rights and becomes the focus of Nestor’s obsessive interference. Nestor manipulates Armanda to undermine Sofia’s relationship with Amadeus, later ordering Amadeus’s murder. Amadeus survives and returns under the identity of his supposed twin, Bernardo, seeking retribution against those he believes responsible.
Concurrently, Nati and Valente continue to evade Ferraz while protecting Juno and Lúcio, mutants considered vital to humanity’s future. Lúcio’s accelerated growth and Juno’s involvement with the Bandit League complicate their relationship. Juno attempts to persuade her mother, Bianca, to abandon the organisation, whose members, Gór, Metamorfo, Lino, Draco and Telê, remain committed to global destruction.
