Summary

Following the outbreak of a devastating virus, the global adult population is eradicated, leaving surviving children to fend for themselves. In the absence of adults, most of the children organise into tribes distinguished by their philosophies, social structures, and styles of dress, differences that frequently give rise to conflict.

While Tribe, the centres on urban survival, The New Tomorrow shifts focus to the countryside and forest regions, depicting the lives and interactions of three principal groups: the Ants, the Barbs, and the Privileged.
