Summary
In the year 3000, the mutant criminal Ransik escapes custody and travels back in time to the year 2001. Four officers of the Time Force agency, Jen Scotts, Lucas Kendall, Trip, and Katie Walker, pursue him to prevent the disruption of the timeline and to recapture his criminal syndicate. Upon arrival, the team is unable to access their Ranger powers without a compatible genetic match and therefore enlist Wes Collins, a young socialite whose DNA enables activation of the Time Force morphers.
As the Rangers battle Ransik’s organisation, Wes’s father, industrialist Mr. Collins, establishes a private security force known as the Silver Guardians to protect the city from mutant attacks. One of its members, Eric Meyers, Wes’s former classmate, later acquires Time Force technology and becomes the Quantum Ranger, operating independently while pursuing his own objectives.
