Summary
After Maligore’s defeat, the Turbo Power Rangers complete high school, with the exception of twelve‑year‑old Justin Stewart, who advances early into Angel Grove High. Divatox resumes her campaign against the team. At the same time, Zordon and Alpha 5 return to Eltar, leaving Dimitria and Alpha 6 as the Rangers’ new mentors. Ernie departs Angel Grove, Lt. Stone assumes control of the Juice Bar, and the Blue Senturion arrives from the year 2000 with a partially corrupted warning of an alliance among several major villains.
As Tommy, Adam, Tanya and Katherine prepare to move on from their Ranger duties, they transfer their powers to T.J. Johnson, Carlos Vallerte, Ashley Hammond and Cassie Chan, while Justin remains the Blue Ranger. The new team receives assistance from the Phantom Ranger and learns that Dark Specter has captured Zordon. Despite Zordon’s warning not to attempt a rescue, the Rangers continue to face escalating threats, losing both the Turbo and Rescue Megazords in battle with Goldgoyle.
Following Dimitria and the Blue Senturion’s departure for Eltar, Divatox discovers and destroys the Power Chamber. Ordered by Dark Specter to travel to the Cimmerian planet, she abandons her attack, allowing the powerless Rangers to escape. The team departs Earth to search for Zordon, while Justin chooses to remain with his father. These events transition directly into Power Rangers in Space.
