Summary

A cohort of five exceptionally qualified medical students is admitted to an elite research programme led by a distinguished professor whose public reputation conceals a separate, undisclosed agenda. As their involvement deepens, the group uncovers evidence of a clandestine and highly perilous scientific undertaking known as Project Orpheus, an initiative centred on attempts to revive the dead. The discovery exposes the extent to which their mentor’s objectives diverge from the programme’s stated academic and clinical aims.
