Summary
Set a decade after the events of the original RoboCop, Delta City , promoted as the safest place on Earth, has grown into a fully realised futuristic metropolis owned and administered by Omni Consumer Products (OCP). RoboCop, formerly Alex Murphy, has begun to experience the limitations of his ageing cybernetic systems and faces the unsettling reality that he is becoming obsolete. Compounding this personal struggle is the discovery that his son, James Murphy, is now an OCP executive who remains unaware that his father is still alive.
Murphy’s former partner, John Cable, returns to Delta City to assume the role of Security Commander, reuniting the two men under increasingly complex circumstances. As new threats emerge, Murphy and Cable begin investigating a mysterious criminal figure known as the Bone Machine. Their inquiry gradually brings them dangerously close to uncovering a clandestine cabal within OCP known as the Trust, an elite group of executives dedicated to advancing their own covert agenda. Unbeknownst to Murphy, his son James is among its members.
Determined to prevent exposure, the Trust intervenes directly, reprogramming Murphy and compelling him to assassinate John Cable, setting the stage for a conflict that intertwines personal loyalty, corporate conspiracy, and the erosion of Murphy’s remaining autonomy.
