Summary
Den Iga first appears in Gavan, where he is attacked and severely injured by Buffalo Doubler, a member of the Space Mafia Makuu. He is subsequently discovered by Gavan, who transports him to Planet Bird for medical treatment. Qom, the leader of the Galaxy Federal Police, is impressed by Den’s courage during the encounter. Den later returns in the final episode of Gavan, intervening in Gavan’s climactic battle in his newly acquired role as Space Sheriff Sharivan, ultimately saving Gavan’s life. Following the defeat of Don Horror, Sharivan is assigned to Earth and partnered with Lily from Planet Bird as he confronts the threat posed by the Madou Space Crime Syndicate.
