Summary

Fifteen years earlier, a young girl was abducted while walking home from school. Saegusa Kento, then a first‑grade elementary student, witnessed the incident but was unable to intervene. The victim was discovered dead several days later, prompting an extended investigation led by Detectives Ōyama Takeshi and Iwata Kazuo. Despite their efforts, the perpetrator was never identified, and the unresolved case gradually led Kento to develop a deep mistrust of the police.

In the present day, Kento has become a police officer and criminal profiler. During the course of his work, he discovers a walkie‑talkie that inexplicably enables communication with Takeshi in the past. Through this extraordinary link, Kento, Takeshi, and fellow officer Misaki collaborate across time to investigate and resolve a series of long‑unsolved cold cases.
