Summary

The series was set in Hawkins during the winter of 1985, positioned narratively between the second and third seasons of Stranger Things. It follows the original characters as they confront newly emerging threats and investigate a developing paranormal mystery. The influence of the Upside Down is once again permeating the town, with familiar sites such as Hawkins National Laboratory reappearing and additional supernatural entities manifesting; early descriptions reference hazards including pumpkin‑based zombies and vine‑like creatures.
