Summary

The Tick is portrayed as a nearly indestructible, blue‑costumed superhero who arrives in The City with the aim of combating crime and uncovering the architect behind its criminal underworld. Despite his eccentric personality and simplistic understanding of everyday life, he is unwavering in his commitment to justice.

He forms an alliance with Arthur, a timid and conscientious young man who becomes his sidekick after adopting a moth‑themed costume. Together, they begin to suspect that The Terror, a notorious supervillain long believed to be dead, may still be orchestrating criminal activity from the shadows, prompting the duo to investigate the true extent of his influence over the city.
