Summary

Time Travel 2 centres on Romeo Jensen and Holly Storm. Romeo, who has never known his father, suspects that time travel once occurred in Dragør and that his missing parent may have been involved. He also believes their substitute teacher, Sofie Villadsen, played a part in those events. Romeo lives with his mother and grandmother at the deteriorating Hotel Dragør.

Seeking answers about his father, Romeo asks Holly for help investigating Sofie, an unlikely alliance, given the longstanding feud between their families. Holly initially dismisses Romeo’s theories, but she soon discovers that Sofie possesses a functioning time machine. Romeo hopes to obtain it, while Holly insists on using it herself to speak with her late grandfather and secure her claim to the family business, Storm Travels.

Sofie frequently travels into the past to visit her grandfather Alfred Villadsen, with whom she built the original time‑travel device, the gyro. Although the original gyro was destroyed, Sofie has created a smaller version worn as a necklace, enabling her to jump back a few seconds at a time to prevent accidents in Dragør.

The narrative moves across multiple eras, including the 1990s and the Middle Ages, continuing the temporal structure established in Tidsrejsen.
