Summary

Torchwood Declassified is a documentary series produced by the British Broadcasting Corporation as a companion programme to the science‑fiction drama Torchwood. Each instalment was broadcast on BBC Three on the same evening as the corresponding episode of the parent series, typically following the same‑day repeat.

Continuing the format established by Doctor Who Confidential, the programme examines themes explored in the newly transmitted episode and provides behind‑the‑scenes access, including production footage and interviews. Each edition runs for approximately ten minutes, in contrast to the longer 30–45‑minute format of Confidential. After transmission, episodes were made available on the BBC’s Torchwood website, though they were later removed following the conclusion of the first series.
