Summary
The series centres on three resourceful teenagers, Marcie, Reet, and Thomas, who find themselves drawn into two crises in which the fate of the world rests on their actions.
In the first story, a mysterious benefactor begins distributing free computers to every pupil at their school. Soon, unsettling anomalies emerge: a classmate lapses into a trance, and the machines begin operating independently, responding before any keys are pressed. With the assistance of their teacher, Miss Maitl, the trio uncover the truth: the benefactor, Mr Eldritch, has engineered a form of human–machine symbiosis and intends to enslave the town’s children as the opening phase of a global takeover.
The second adventure begins when an archaeological dig on the school grounds reveals a sealed underground bunker containing Behemoth, an autonomous mechanical war engine. Having evolved its own intelligence and expanded its capabilities, Behemoth is now prepared to initiate worldwide destruction.
