Summary
Flash Gordon is depicted as a privileged Yale‑educated adventurer, a blond, polo‑playing preppie, who joins Dale Arden and Dr. Zarkov on an expedition to the planet Mongo, a world ruled by the tyrannical Emperor Ming the Merciless.
After bringing Ming’s ambitions to a temporary halt, the trio continues their interplanetary struggles against a succession of formidable adversaries, including Bizdar, the Evil Queen of Cygnil, the Great God Em of Odin, the Mad Witch of Neptune, and various other foes equipped with assortments of androids, monsters, and destructive energy weapons.
