Summary
A remote island community braces for an imminent and unusually severe winter storm. As the weather closes in, the village receives an unexpected and unsettling visitor: Andre Linoge, a mysterious figure whose presence quickly disrupts the social fabric of the settlement. Linoge demonstrates an uncanny knowledge of the residents’ private lives, publicly revealing long‑buried truths that each accused individual vehemently denies.
The town constable, Mike Anderson, attempts to maintain order as both the storm and Linoge’s psychological pressure intensify. Throughout his interactions with the townspeople, Linoge repeatedly delivers the same cryptic ultimatum: "Give me what I want and I will go away." His demand, initially opaque, becomes the driving force behind the escalating tension that grips the isolated community.
